You’ve seen a thousand blooms
sprinkled life on many colors
dented and worn
your capacity to give remains undiminished

You’ve traveled the world
witnessed the seasons changing
experienced love for life
and watched it fade

The touch of many is upon you
tender caresses
you are an instrument of emotion
the externalization of inner hope

Passing through the years
your destiny a mystery
despite obvious purpose
sharing your path
always sharing

Why are you here, in this place?
What called this new touch to you?
Another stop on your journey
pouring life into new roots
one more chance to manifest love
in the simplest of gestures

I love that, “one more chance to manifest love in the simplest of gestures.” I think everyone has this responsibility. Just lovely.
